The lodge is located in the north of Mozambique in an area called La Veranda, a privately-owned nature reserve. Veranda lies at the tip of a peninsula and is only a short distance from Ilha de Moçambique (Mozambique Island), the former capital of Mozambique. The lodge is only 45 minutes away from llha de Moçambique, which is the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Mozambique.
